Mowsworth Rampage

I'm riding a ride-on lawnmower 86km through Molesworth to Hanmer Springs

You Can Help Me Make a Difference... make a donation to the Cancer Society Nelson Tasman and Nelson Tasman Hospice today.

We all know someone who has been supported by the Cancer Society Nelson Tasman or Nelson Tasman Hospice.

That’s why I'm riding 86km in the Mowsworth Rampage because I want to help support people in our community who are supported by these charities.

I'm taking on this challenge to raise both awareness and funds for the Cancer Society Nelson Tasman and Nelson Tasman Hospice.

And I’m hoping that you’ll donate to help make a difference!

Anything you can give is greatly appreciated.

Little about the day.

I Rode 86km on a Lawnmower (18km in Reverse!) – Now I Need Your Help
Last year, I took on the wildest challenge: riding a lawnmower 86km through Molesworth Station—one of New Zealand’s remote tracks. And when my mower’s gear system gave out near the end, I finished the last 18km in reverse. Yes, reverse.
Why? Because it’s not just about finishing—it’s about who we’re riding for.
This epic event, the Molesworth Mower Rampage, raises money for the Cancer Society Nelson Tasman and Nelson Tasman Hospice, two organisations doing absolutely vital work for people and families facing cancer. Their support is only possible thanks to donations from events like this.
So this year, I’m back on the mower (hopefully with all gears working!)—and I’m asking for your support.
Here’s what the challenge looks like:
• 86km of high-country terrain
• Starting at Molesworth Cob Cottage Gate at sunrise
• Crossing a river, rocks and gravel roads
• Joined by dozens of other mad legends on ride-on mowers

It’s dusty, exhausting, has potential to be freezing and one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done.
Why I'm riding again:
Because cancer doesn’t stop, and neither should we.
The Cancer Society and Hospice offer everything from transport to treatment, to emotional support, to end-of-life care—all at no cost to patients and whānau. They’re there when people need them most.
But they rely on donations to keep going.
How you can help:
I’ve signed up to do this all over again this year—and I’d love your support.
Every dollar you donate goes straight to the cause. It helps real people in our community who are going through the toughest times of their lives.

Whether it’s $5 or $50, it makes a difference. And hey—if my mower breaks again, maybe I’ll finish in reverse again.
Thanks for backing me and for backing an incredible cause.
See you on the start line.
