Mowsworth Rampage

I'm riding a ride-on lawnmower 86km through Molesworth to Hanmer Springs

You Can Help Me Make a Difference... make a donation to the Cancer Society Nelson Tasman and Nelson Tasman Hospice today.

We all know someone who has been supported by the Cancer Society Nelson Tasman or Nelson Tasman Hospice.

That’s why I'm riding 86km in the Mowsworth Rampage because I want to help support people in our community who are supported by these charities.

I'm taking on this challenge to raise both awareness and funds for the Cancer Society Nelson Tasman and Nelson Tasman Hospice.

And I’m hoping that you’ll donate to help make a difference!

Anything you can give is greatly appreciated.

My Updates

Done and Dusty!

Friday 24th Oct
Yahoo ... The Richmond Glass Mowsworth Rampage is done and dusted for this year and what a ride it was. There were definitely a hell of a lot of great fun times, a few frustrating times and a couple of sad times but I am so pleased to have done it and helped to raise funds for Cancer Society Nelson and Nelson Tasman Hospice... Nearly a week on from the Mower run life is moving on and another round of treatment today! Yippee!! So far they Mowsworth Rampage has raised $63k of the desired $100k the page is still open for donations for 2 weeks! (Individually I more than tripled my goal of 1k) a humongous thank you to every single person who has donated so far it means so much to me and I cannot show my appreciation enough! A huge thank you to my amazing oncology nurse for donating my mower (Mumma Z) sadly the diff gave it at the half way mark but the mowers motor went into another mower which allowed it to get over the finish line! Next time I'll make it across the finish line in one peice!

Not long now... this time next week we kick into gear! (Hopefully!)

Friday 10th Oct
Update:
Well with just a week to go before we get underway with the mower run I have well and truly  surpassed my initial goal of raising 1k... I've nearly doubled it!! Whichbis absolutely fantastic... it would be great to get it over the 2k, every cent makes a difference and i am so grateful for everyones support!!

I started treatment again this morning after not being allowed to have any for 2 months due to it doing some pretty hideous things to my body from my treatment including hospitalization for a week and getting bells palsy (whole side of my face dropped) to my body no longer making cortisol which is critical for survival and my one remaining kidney not excreting creatine as it should! I'm really looking forward to this challenge, as someone who has  cancer this incredible fundraiser is super close to my heart. Please help support me and all the other amazing participants in next week's Richmond Glass Mowsworth mower challenge.

This is something hugely important to me and every dollar donated goes to two charities close to my heart... Nelson Tasman Hospice and The cancer society please help us to raise funds for people like me in the community who are again challenged with this crappy disease. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1BB4uSYguB/

Cancer you can buggar right off!!

Tuesday 5th Aug
As many of you know I am battling cancer again for the second time in two years... man it sucks! Last year I was diagnosed with kidney and bowel cancer. Both were removed and I was deemed clear of cancer. Earlier this year it came back and is now terminal. I am undergoing immunotherapy to prolong life and slow the cancers growth. So this challenge is close to my heart! (Literally) Last year Mitch and I did this on Mitch's ride on mower, this year we are hoping to both do it on our own mowers. Please support me to raise money for a great cause!
